William F. Hamilton, JD Partner, Quarles & Brady LLP Dean & Chairman, Department of E-Discovery, Bryan University

William Hamilton is board certified in business litigation and intellectual property by the Florida Bar. His work includes complex business litigation in the areas of contract, software and technology disputes, intellectual property (copyright, trademark, patent and trade secrets law), e-commerce, data security, telecommunications, trade regulation, unfair trade practices, and internal investigations.  Mr. Hamilton is also a neutral, arbitrator, and mediator for the World Intellectual Property Organization, the International Trademark Association, and the American Arbitration Association. He has been honored by inclusion in Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA®, Florida Legal Elite®, and Florida Super Lawyers®. He is also a Litigation Counsel of America® Fellow and a Fellow of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Hamilton has been a pioneer in e-Discovery education having taught e-Discovery and evidence at law schools, judicial conferences, and at American Arbitration Association University.  He is a featured speaker and writer on electronic discovery and evidence. Mr. Hamilton’s e-Discovery articles have appeared in numerous journals including the ABA Family Advocate®, the ABA Litigation Magazine, and on Quarles & Brady’s e-Discovery blog, E-Discovery Bytes.  Mr. Hamilton is the co-author of the LexisNexis Practice Guide Florida E-Discovery and Evidence.

 

George J. Socha, Jr., JD Principal, Socha Consulting LLC Co-Founder, EDRM E-Discovery Board Member, Bryan University

After litigating cases for 16 years, George Socha founded Socha Consulting LLC in 2003. Mr. Socha offers services as an electronic discovery expert witness; advisor to corporations, law firms and their clients; and advisor to legal vertical market software and service providers in the areas of electronic discovery and automated litigation support.
